Next month, I’ll be heading down to Christchurch to attend the New Zealand Aerospace Summit 2025. It’s a great opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with others working across the aerospace and geospatial sectors. While TerraAnalytica is still in its early stages, we are keen to explore how our work might align with developments in aerospace and Earth observation technologies.
Much of what we do at TerraAnalytica sits at the intersection of remote sensing, field mapping, and environmental data analysis. After the summit, we’ll be spending some time on the Canterbury Plains doing fieldwork — part of our ongoing efforts to link ground observations with satellite and drone-based data. It’s early work, but we’re excited to keep building tools and methods that help make sense of the landscape.
Looking forward to a few days of new ideas, good conversations, and catching up with others doing meaningful work across the sector. If you’re attending, feel free to say kia ora — always happy to talk maps, data, or open science.
